Margaret Farrell (Maggie)
====================================================================
Little is known about Maggie, but it seems reasonable to assume
that she and her sisters Mary and Annie took care of their parents'
home for them and brothers Richard and Lewis.
Mary's marriage and Annie's death in 1880, followed by her
parent's deaths in 1886 and 1888, reduced the size of the houshold
considerably.
After Lewis' departure sometime in the 1890's, only the two,
unmarried Maggie and Richard remained. Her death in 1921 and his,
in 1923, ended the household and Mary became the only Tyrone
resident-survivor of the family.
Maggie maintained contact with her Devlin relatives as it is
shown in Supplement A, following. It is a copy of a 1912 letter to
her from her cousin, Ed Devlin of Santa Cruz, California. The copy
was sent to me by my cousin, Edward Farrell of Longmeadow, MA.
