MARRIED 50 YEARS ON MOTHER's DAY

A golden wedding anniversary and Mother's day were very beau-
tifully observed at the Reinhart home, 211 West Tenth Street,Tyrone,
on Sunday. Just fifty years ago, on Tuesday, May 11, Miss Mary
Farrell became the happy bride of Frank Reinhart inn the Saint
Matthew's Catholic Church. The impressive ceremony was performed at
early dawn before the altar of the church by their pastor, Rev.
Father J.C. Farren.

The bride is the daughter of John and Anna Devlin Farrell, coming
to Tyrone when just a small girl, and residing here ever since. Her
bridegroom is the son of the late John and Mary Reinhart, and was
born and reared in Tyrone. During his young manhood, he followed
the vocation of contracting and in later years served the interests
of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. At present, he is
enjoying his season of retirement, the reward of many years of
faithful efforts.

Mr. and Mrs. Reinhart went to housekeeping immediately after the
marriage and for many years resided on North Logan Avenue, in a very
cosy home. The past few years they have resided at 211 West Tenth
Street, where they are spending the quiet, peaceful twilight time of
life. Three children were born to this union. One son, John, lives
to bless the lives of these splendid parents.

While no elaborate celebration was planned for the fiftieth
anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Reinhart were the recipients of many con-
gratulatory cards and greetings from their many friends. Many
friends called at the home to extend personal felicitations. Among
the out-of-town guests at the home during the day were Mr. and Mrs.
William Kammer and daughter of Johnstown. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Farrell of Northampton, Mass., brother and sister-in-law of Mrs.
Reinhart, spent the weekend as house guests of the happy bride and
bridegroom of a half century ago.

That they may live to enjoy many years of additional happiness
together is the sincere wish of their many friends.
